Production

The grapes were selected from the property of Jean-Charles LASSERRE, whose Vineyard resides on a hillside, chosen for the quality of its 'terroir' (term used to denote the combination of soil, climate and exposure to the sun - that is the natural physical environment of the vine) of sandy gravel and chalky siliceous pebbles. The vineyard has 4 hectares of large Manseng and 7 hectares of small Manseng.

Vinification

Manually harvested by successive sorting, using the first picking to elaborate this Jurançon sec (dry). The grapes were then moderately pressed, the must'débourbage' (filtered to remove any deposits), fermented under controlled temperatures, and bottled at the end of the Winter after 3 months of aging on the lees.

Tasting

LOOK: Very straw yellow, brilliant and crystal clear.
NOSE: Explosively fresh, with finesse and delicious aromas of lemon, grapefruit, peach and apricot. One can also discover tones of more exotic fruits such as passion fruit and mango.
TASTE: Fresh and characteristically clean, its vivacity, substance and aromatic persistence forms a harmonious ensemble.

Conservation

A wine to drink now to capture its fineness and gaiety, but will keep for 4 to 5 years..
