Production
"Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng" grapes from very tall vines on a vineyard situated on a hillside in Jurançon were manually harvested on the 2nd and 3rd picking at the end of October and beginning of November.
Vinification
The grapes are completely drained by light pressing and the must statically filtered to remove any deposits . The wine is then slowly fermented under controlled temperatures and left to develop on the less before being bottled.
Tasting
Robe : Bright lemon yellow
Nose: Intense and very ripe. Powerful aromas of apricot and yellow peaches with hint of sugared orange.
Taste: The attack is very full and powerful, with a good balance of sugar and freshness. Hint of fresh fruits like pineapple can be distinguished in the mouth. The aftertaste is long and perfumed. A typical Jurançon d' Appellation, consecrating the subtle marriage of "petit Manseng" (powerful, aromatic) and "gros Manseng" (freshness).
Conservation
The wine is ready to drink now, but it will age well over 5 to 8 years.
